THE LAND OF ENCHANTMENT

From Santa Fe to Gallup, New Mexico. The landscapes have become a lot dryer! We travel through Pueblos, a mixture of Spanish Colonial and Indian Pueblos architecture, and Indian reserves. Tourists become more and more present, gift and souvenir shops as well!
Santa Fe was a nice change, but a real tourist trap. We are now at the El Rancho Hotel in Gallup, dating from 1937, one of the must-stops of Route 66.
